General Manager Bill Denhard
Bill Denhard knew from his first day working at a Cameron Mitchell restaurant in 2006 that he had gotten himself into something unique and special.
Denhard began his career with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants as a server at Cap City Fine Diner & Bar in Gahanna. After a year, he was offered a management position at Molly Woo’s Asian Bistro where he worked for two years in various roles, including the dining room manager and bar manager.
In 2009, Denhard helped open Marcella's Italian Kitchen in Scottsdale, Ariz., and was on the management team for two years before he returned to Columbus in 2011 to work at two different CMR concepts, Marcella's at Polaris and Molly Woo’s.
Most recently, Denhard served as the beverage manager at Hudson 29 Kitchen + Drink in Upper Arlington before he was promoted to his current position as the restaurant’s general manager in March 2015.
With nearly 10 years’ experience working with CMR, Denhard has been exposed to many team environments and leadership styles and has been able to define and craft his dynamic role at Hudson 29. For aspiring managers, Denhard offers the following advice: be open to feedback and criticism, do more than what is asked of you, and remember that experience and how hard your willing to work is important.
When he’s not creating raving fans at Hudson 29, Denhard and his wife, Lisa, enjoy spending time with their two daughters in their Westerville home. He also enjoys cooking and athletics.
