For some, running a restaurant is a business. For us, it is our calling. Our passion for food and fine dining comes first, business second. We are a chef-driven restaurant. For you, that means fine dining at its best. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Lindsey Shaw’s love for entertaining and taking care of others led her to a career in the hospitality industry. She joined the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) family in 2011 as a server, host and bartender at Molly Woo’s. Shaw credits CMR for helping her fall in love with the art of hospitality. She truly enjoys the feeling of making someone’s experience exceptional and often says, “service is given and hospitality is felt.”
During her time at Molly Woo’s, Shaw also interned with CMR’s marketing department. She later became a dining room and beverage manager at Cap City Gahanna followed by a tenure as Cap City Dublin’s beverage manager. In July 2018, she became the general manager at Hudson 29 Kitchen + Drink in Upper Arlington.
Shaw has a degree in strategic communication from The Ohio State University. She advises those interested in a hospitality career to have an open mind and be willing to adapt and overcome situations. She explains that every challenge you face is a little different and says it’s important to challenge yourself. Shaw has learned that communication is the most important tool for success in the industry. She believes it is essential to confide in your team and support one another.
Shaw’s favorite CMR dishes are the pad thai from Molly Woo’s, the filet from Martini, the ponzu-glazed salmon at Cap City and all of the sushi at Hudson 29. She is thankful for the people she gets to work with every day and the strong bond within the company. She calls her colleagues a family she has chosen.
Originally from Newport News, Virginia, Shaw now lives in Dublin, Ohio, with her daughter, Audrey. Outside of the restaurant, she enjoys music, travel, cooking, and wine and spirits.
